Robertson’s slight, reedy. nasal voice projects a certain endearingly sincere appeal while his songwriting possesses a sweetly upbeat and good-hearted optimism that’s a true joy to hear. The gently melodic, softly lulling, and pleasingly spare arrangements likewise hit the flavorsome sonic spot. And the nicely happy vibe and cheerful assertion of positive individuality which permeates every last glowingly radiant note is a tremendous relief in this era of bitter cynicism and crushed hope. - Joe W.
