JDRF Benefit Concert Update

Thanks again to everyone who had anything to do with our 6th annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Benefit Concert. It was nothing short of a smashing success. We were treated to wonderful performances by Gary PhilipS, Michael Brett, Sam Sims, Cook Smith, George Wirth, Ken Shane and the leader of the Zak Pak himself, Zak Baumann, along with his "Fourth Day" bandmate, Christian Durazo. It was wonderful to bring Will Knox down to Asbury Park, where the overwhelming majority of the audience was hearing him for the first time. You could have heard a pin drop when he was playing, and I think that says all you need to know about how captivating his performance was. We could not have made this event the success that it was without the help of our amazing friends who volunteered their time and SO MUCH MORE. Brenda, Susan, Ursula, Cook, Laurie, Sheli...... you are amazing! What a blessing to have you in our corner. As a result of the generosity of our friends and family, we were able to raise $1385 to donate to JDRF. To the musicians, our behind-the-scenes helpers, those who donated time, money or services, you have our eternal thanks! Special thanks to our pals at Atonement Lutheran Church for hosting the event for the second straight year. God willing, we will be back next year! See you then!
