5th ANNUAL JDRF BENEFIT SCHEDULED FOR 4/12/08

Yes, my peeps, it is time to round up some of New Jersey''s greatest and coolest musical talent for our 5th Annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Benefit Concert. As you know, every year, Nancy and I get some of our amazingly talented friends together and put on our concert to raise funds for the JDRF. Our good friend Zak Baumann participates in a "Walk To Cure Diabetes" every year in his hometown of Charlotte, NC. He collects pledges from friends and family, so we try and help his fundraising efforts by donating the proceeds of our concert to him. This year''s star studded lineup includes Jersey Shore folk legend-in-the-making George Wirth, the sweetest voice in show business - Tina Vero, the father-daughter combo of Mike and Sara McDermott, multi-media sensation Stephen Thomas, the hardest working man in show biz, aka Cook Smith, and special guests. I''ll be playing a set with some special guests sitting in with me. Ya just never know what kind of surprises there will be. As always, we''ll be having our tricky tray raffles. This year, we''ll be treated to the culinary delights of our dear pal Brenda Wirth. We''re quite fortuante and thrilled to be playing at Atonement Lutheran Church in Asbury Park. I''ve been to this room multiple times and it is a great place for a show. This year, we''re trying to make it more family friendly with a special 3:00 pm starting time. Hope to see y''all there! It''s gonna be a rocking good time for a wonderful cause.
